Yeah, a book cover! ( Is cover the right word for that? I looked in my dict. but was't sure about it)

I really love making those kind of book covers, but i don't often get the chance to do one - I don't hardly make any for myself, since i would never use them (Always thinking they're too nice to write/draw something in it!) But making one for someone else was the perfekt way to just let my inspiration flow.
had a selfmade pocketbook on her wishlist, so i decided: Why should I buy a selfmade book, when I can make one? Here it is! It was soo much fun and so much pain to do, i had a lot of holes in my fingers after sewing this.(Leather is really thick and hard to sew)
By the way, the leather peaces were all scrap pieces i had lying around here :3
The painting was a real pain in the a** - it took almost three hours of constantly painting 'till no leather was shining through and I had all the details I needed.

I hope I get more opportunities for making book covers this year <3
